B.A.Taylor 

was born in Melbourne, Australia and has been living in Germany for over 11 years, primarily in Munich. 

In 2022 he moved to Altenberg, Saxony near Dresden, purchased a hotel and over the last year turned the bar area into an art gallery.

Taylor studied photography at PSC College in Melbourne in the 1980’s. 

Drawn to other photographers like Henri Cartier Bresson, Taylor realised that ‘Street Photography’ and Portraiture were his strengths.

Over the last 20 odd years Taylor has also developed other artistic interests such as ‘Fine Art Photography’, wooden sculpture, painting and digital design. 

B.A.Taylor 

has been described as an artist who seems to dwell in existential angst. But... he has another side to him with his colourful Pop Art. 

The current exhibition is a cross section of Taylor’s work, including Fine Art Photography, Pop Art, Painting and Mixed Media.

Taylor has also worked in the music business in Australia as a sound engineer on over 150 music film clips and films, such as the sequel to Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt's 'Interview with the Vampire' - 'Queen Of The Damned'. He is also a keen singer songwriter musician composer who has released several albums.

Taylor in many ways is the epitome of a creative soul.
